Subject: Warms the cockles of my heart

My grandmother (may she rest in peace) was a real character. One of the quickest wits I ever knew!

learned some really interesting phrases from her:

“She wouldn’t give you yesterday’s ice water”

“He’s crooked as a dog’s hind leg”

“He’d eat anything that wouldn’t eat him first”

By FAR… the most interesting phrase I learned from her was the phrase:

“Warms the cockles of my heart”

I never understood what it meant as a kid, but years later I realized she was just saying: “That makes me feel good.”

What brought this to mind?

This trip down memory lane came to me when I got a very pleasant voice message from a client.

This message came in response to some work we did with paid ads at the beginning of August.

I’ll write out his message word for word here:

“Dan the man! August 1st I had 28 students at the end of the summer… I’m now up to… I invoiced… 52 students at the beginning of October. So, I’m averaging about 5 or 6 requests per week. My prediction for the middle of October is that I’m going to be over 60. I just did 4 consultations this week and I’m going to open up a ukulele class just for the fun of it. I’m turning people away!”

I love getting messages like this… and the longer I’ve been helping studios increase their enrollment, take control of their policies, and learn how to effectively communicate with new and current families…

… the more of these “heartwarming” message I get.

If you’d like me to help you set up a system in your studio that:
  • Attracts more leads
  • Helps you close them
  • And teaches you how to keep them for the long-term
Then, I’d recommend working with me in Studio Marketing Masterclass.

Registration opens today. It closes this Sunday night at 11pm.

If you haven’t applied yet, you can do so by clicking the button below

If you have applied, registration goes live at 2pm today.

Very best,
Daniel
