Many of the videos I create are “tactical”... it specifically teaches how to solve a problem.
This video is different. It’s much more high-level and strategic.
You will need to put on your thinking cap for this one and think about the implications for your studio.I made several points in this video:
- We aren’t just selling lessons… parents are actually buying something else
- Everything in your studio is marketing (this is a big concept, and I dig into it at the beginning)
- There are 3 “threats” that every studio faces in 2019 - and I show you how to protect yourself from those threats
- There are 5 ways to handle the “Practice Problem” - no matter what instrument you teach, no matter whether you teach group or private lessons
Candidly, this video was tough to make. I’ve been thinking about this topic for a while… and I even get off to a rough start at the beginning. I struggle for words at a few points.
But, I believe the topic and concept are worth listening to, thinking about, and dealing with in your studio.
