Wanted to share a quote about success:
“Don’t aim at success—the more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it.
For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side-effect of one’s dedication…
In the long run—in the long run, I say!—success will follow you precisely because you had forgotten to think about it.”
— Viktor Frankl
How true this is!
We’ve had the opportunity to coach HUNDREDS of studio owners in the past (nearly) eight years of running Grow Your Music Studio…
The clients who seem to get the most dramatic results are the ones who didn't dwell on the OUTCOME (the success).
Even more importantly, they didn't dwell on or spend a lot of emotional energy on:
How much time it would take to get to their goals
How much work it would take to get to their goals
How much money it would take to get to their goals
The individual actions they had to take to get to their goals (i.e., "oh, I hate social media, I don't want to post about my studio" or "I don't want to have to learn how to write persuasively")
Again - the most successful people didn't spend a lot of time on the above...
They just threw themselves at whatever was next.
They persevered.
Now- this might sound all well and good...
But, this is the real world!
Sometimes, I legitimately don't want to do something!
I look at something on my task list... and I feel anxious, or upset, or confused, or avoidant.
I procrastinate.
I do think about it. Or overthink about it!
What then!?!?!?
This is why we created the 6-Figure Roadmap!
We are not robots.
We have emotions and bad habits and destructive patterns.
We self-sabotage.
This is where a 1:1 coach helped me.
And it's how we've helped many studio owners overcome their obstacles and write their success story.
Stories like:
-> Helping a cello studio start a high-ticket adult group program in New York City. That owner ended up going from a single-teacher studio to hiring 4 teachers to work for her (including a strings teacher who had won an Academy Award).
-> Helping numerous studio owners start a new location and grow it rapidly (including Brian who has been a featured guest on our podcast multiple times… he’s one of Alyssa’s clients)
-> Coaching a studio entrepreneur to multiple 6-figures in income… an entrepreneur who charges each client $7k per year for lessons
-> Helping Vera (a 7-figure school owner) go from stressed out and overworked to hiring multiple support staff so she could focus only on her zone of genius (we interviewed her on the podcast here)
-> Helping “average” studio owners to double or more than double their NET income in a short period of time (I’ve lost count of how many I’ve helped)
-> Supporting studio owners in identifying “tough to diagnose” problems that are keeping them from their income goals and career objectives
-> Addressing the “personal” side of business… the stress, the self-doubt, the loneliness, the impostor syndrome… any and every “personal” problem that shows up in the business
-> Holding all of my client’s feet to the fire with “can’t wriggle out of it” accountability built right into the coaching
Each of these clients applied to work with us, we identified their obstacles, and then built their Roadmap.
Would you like a Roadmap?
Would you like the accountability, the mentorship, the speed to results…
As well as the guarantee that comes with it?
If so…
