Subject: Shopping list for group music program

A few weeks ago, I released a new video about 7 “steps” you needed to complete to start a group program.

(You can watch that video here)

One of the points I covered in that video was what you needed to start a new group program.

Here’s a brief shopping list:

  • 3 or 4 or 5 digital instruments (and, if voice - you don’t even need that!)

  • Same number of headphones

  • Same number of benches and / or music stands

And…. that’s it.

You don’t need any bells and whistles.

No iPad.

No special method or equipment.

No complicated games.

No arts and crafts time for kids.

When I began teaching group in 2008, I started with 4 pianos and a rough plan.

Little did I realize that I would grow my studio to 100 kids in less than 4 years while cutting my teaching hours in half (about 23 hours per week).

Sure, I’ve spiced things up along the way.

But you do not NEED it.

Just courage, instruments, and a plan.

On February 27th, I’m going to share that plan with you.

If you have questions … comments … or just want to say “hi”...

Shoot me an email!

I’ll see you Monday!

Very best,

Daniel

PS> I’m releasing more free materials next week (videos, posts, etc.) about how to teach multi-level groups..

How it works, how to market a group program, and many other valuable tips.

If teaching group, getting better student results, and making more sounds appealing to you - it will be worth your while! Stay tuned!
