I don’t know how you responded when you felt this…
But, my entire life (and especially my communication patterns) began to revolve around that love interest!
Constant texting.
Talking on the phone.
Emails and instant messages back and forth.
It never stopped.
During that entire period, I never thought…
Dang! She sends way too many messages!
Never crossed my mind.
Why?
It’s simple.
I was excited about everything she had to say.
I eagerly anticipated the sound of a text on my Motorola v400 phone!
There’s a powerful takeaway for a studio or school owner in that simple truth.
What a (Business) Relationship Can Bear
I believe that music studio and music school owners are far too shy when it comes to communicating with their potential customers and current clients.
They’re afraid of being “too noisy” on social media.
They’re afraid of “annoying” people who have reached out to them about lessons.
They’re afraid to call, to post, to email, or to share their opportunity.
Here’s the thing…
If the potential client was interested enough to reach out…
They want to hear from you. They are looking forward to it!
If the potential client is looking for what you have to offer…
Then you (or a team member) need to be dedicating a good portion of the week in communication with those people!
And - if there aren’t a lot of people reaching out…
You (or a team member) need to be dedicating a good portion of the week finding, meeting, and communicating with people who do need what you are offering!
This isn’t rude. It’s not invasive.
It’s service.
I Practice What I Preach
Over the next few weeks, I’m going to be sending you a number of resources.
New trainings, emails, audios, and videos.
I’ll send these to you by email.
In the past, I’ve received hate mail from people when I do this.
People have literally sworn at me or said extremely unkind things.
Others loudly announce they are unsubscribing.
