Hard to believe… but it’s been 15 years since the show Mad Men premiered (July 19, 2007).

The show followed the life of brilliant marketer Don Draper. The show was set in an ad agency in 1960's New York.

I’m not going to write some long email about “10 things we can learn about marketing from the show.” I’m not that pretentious and neither one of us has that kind of time.

However, there is one thing that I noticed when I watched it.

Towards the end of the show… There is a meta-narrative about the anxiety people felt about computers - people feared that they would be replaced by them.

Obviously, we have the benefit of hindsight... that didn't happen.

It hasn’t happened in teaching. And it hasn’t happened in marketing.

We haven't all been replaced by music teaching apps.

And there still isn't a way to "automate your way to new students"... we still have to apply skill to the business and marketing side of our schools and studios.

What We Weren’t Taught in Music School

Here's what that means...

For anyone wanting to increase their student numbers… there are two skills you must acquire:

  1. The digital aspect of marketing and communication

  2. The psychological and artistic side of marketing and communication

In layman’s terms?

Most studio owners need better messaging… and they need to learn how to efficiently get that message out.

That's the name of the game.

But, as simple as it sounds... we all know that acquiring a skill can be tricky.

That’s why I created Studio Marketing Masterclass…

For every person who joins the Studio Marketing Masterclass on June 6th...

I’m going to show you how to do exactly that:

  • In Week 2, I’ll show you how to read the minds of your studio families and then use their thoughts to create your marketing… you don’t need to be creative when you can just steal the words right out of their mouth

  • In Week 4, I’ll show you how to take those words and use it to create persuasive, effective messages for your website, email, intro lessons, and phone conversations with potential customers… you will feel so much more confident about your messaging!

  • In Week 5, I’ll show you to take those messages and use technology to efficiently spread your message to hundreds and thousands of potential customers

  • In Week 6, I’ll give you my follow up communication sequence that raised my retention rate by years… again, no creativity required. You can just copy and paste it!

  • In Week 7, you get to work with my ads coach personally to create effective marketing campaigns

  • Throughout the program, you can meet with me to get personalized feedback on all of the work that you create

All of this begins when you register this coming Monday, June 6th.

But…

You won’t get the opportunity until you apply to join the class.

You can do so here.

Only those who apply (and are approved) will get the invite. All details about costs, logistics, and training schedules will be released this Monday.

I look forward to working with you!

Very best,

Daniel

PS> Not only do you have the opportunity to register next week… I’m also going to be revealing my “Back to School” marketing plan… for absolutely free.

But - only to those who apply.
