Here's what you'll learn:
(0:00) Intro: How Josh converted nearly 100% of his studio to group lessons... and the advice Daniel gives for anyone who needs to position themselves as a leader in their studio
(1:58) Josh gives background on a client who gave pushback on group lessons
(5:08) Daniel begins to address this delicate situation (don't want to lose the student)
(7:34) Will group lessons work for every student?
(10:18) The specific advice that would work for this parent (you can use these questions, too!)
(11:27) Am I failing if I don't convert 100% of my students to group lessons?
(12:41) How Daniel helped a skeptical parent see the value of the group program... even though this parent was a musician with strong opinions about what a music lesson should be!
Conclusion
Later this month, I will be starting a new class of Successful Group Lessons...
This is the training program that I created to show other studios how to teach group lessons the way that I do.
I have created a way of teaching groups that:
Doesn't require a special curriculum (I show how to adapt any method to the group format)
Doesn't require complicated scheduling (I schedule all ages and ability levels together)
Doesn't require compromising your educational standards (I have put my own students through rigorous testing systems like the Royal Conservatory of Music's system)
Doesn't even require you to be in person (we have many, many group teachers who are using our system to teach groups online!)
To date, I have shown 270+ studios how to teach in this way... from small studios (a few dozen students) to very large studios (for example, a 400-student studio in Sydney, Australia, 700+ student studio in Orlando, or a 600+ student studio in Atlanta, GA).
Not only that, this system works for piano, guitar, drums, and strings instruments.
Registration begins on June 20th.
I'll see you tomorrow for the next email in this series.
Best,
Daniel
