Subject: Do you have enough space to run a group program?

Over the years, I've had many studios reach out to me asking about group lessons.

My observation is that there are a bunch of "questions marks" for them.

A number of unanswered questions that make the whole process confusing and even frightening.

This week, I'm answering the most commonly asked questions about getting a group program started...

If you have the best information, you can make the best decision!

Let's get started...

How Much Space Do You Need?

How much space you need is a factor of what kind of group you are running.

There are:

  • Open-air groups

  • Group curriculum groups

  • Multi-level groups

  • Piano-lab style groups

  • Makeup groups

  • Specialty groups (like songwriting or "practice club" groups)

Now... I'm going to dive much more deeply into these group types later this week.

But just know this... Irrespective of the type of group you are running, you are going to need enough room to get your instruments in there.

The minimum space I recommend for a group of 4 piano or guitar students is 10x10.

The minimum space I recommend for a group of 5 piano or guitar students is 12x12.

It really is this simple.

Until then!

PS> Later this month, we will be opening up registration for our Successful Group Lessons training... Where I show how to run a successful piano, guitar, strings, or drums group program.
