A picture is just a picture. Right?

Um, NO!

When it comes to interior photography, a picture is almost always a compilation of multiple pictures. In other words, we take a variation of exposures to then blend them together into one final image.

If you're not used to shooting and editing that way just yet, though, how do you know what those different exposures need to look like? Or how do you decide what to do for each one when you're on location?

I have GOT YOU, my friend!

Our #photobreakdowns are coming out weekly to show you just this - what each layer of a finished photo looks like!

We start with one photo, then move on to the other exposures, along with notes on why they are shot that way.

Then there's a video of the Photoshop layers getting turned on and off so you can see how each layer was used in the masking.

And finally, you see the finished image delivered to the client!

Pretty cool, yes??
