Subject: Retreat update! You won't believe who our guest designer is.

Get the designer's point of view

Hey there and happy Monday (and Valentine's Day!)!

We're still working hard to get all the details in place for the upcoming retreat, but we're so happy to finally be able to announce our next speaker! We wanted to have a designer speak to the group so that we can get our clients' perspective on the designer-photographer relationship. While we're at it, we wanted a fabulous designer to be able to join us!

Say hello to Carmeon Hamilton!

If Carmeon looks familiar, it's because you probably saw her on HGTV - either while she was winning the latest Design Star competition or while she updated rental properties on her show, Reno My Rental. Or maybe you saw her when she was named one of nine rising stars by Architectural Digest.

No matter where you saw her, Carmeon is forging her own path in the most fantastic way!

Let me tell you about this powerhouse of a designer:

Carmeon Hamilton is a Memphis-based interior designer and lifestyle blogger behind the brand, Nubi Interiors, winner of HGTV’s Design Star: Next Gen and star of HGTV’s Reno My Rental. Her work, story and content around design, branding and elevating the everyday are featured and referenced in Architectural Digest, Southern Living, Essence, Domino and more. Carmeon utilizes her design education and vast experience to discover the beauty in all things and help others find beauty in what surrounds them every day.

You can see Carmeon's work on her website, her blog, and her IG feed.

We are thrilled that Carmeon will be doing a virtual 2-hour Q&A/casual chat with us about her work and the relationship between designers and photographers. With her varied background in healthcare design, as a designer/merchandiser/buyer for furniture retailers, as an interior designer for residential and commercial spaces, and as a brand herself - Carmeon is able to give us insights into how to work with different fields within the design industry. The cherry on top? Carmeon also brings the perspective of a black designer in an industry that desperately needs more diversity.

There's still one final expert that is being finalized and will soon be revealed, but we just couldn't wait to let you know about Carmeon joining us for this event!

There are still a few spots left, so go grab your seat for this memorable retreat now!
