Combat flat lighting - 3 ways!

In a perfect world, each space we photograph and each composition we create would have beautiful natural light that pours in at the right strength and direction. In reality, that's often far from reality!

For times when you have flat light and need to add some definition and interest, there are a few ways to tackle it:

control the available light

move the camera

add in artificial light
