No doubt you're familiar with Zillow, but are you also familiar with Zillow Gone Wild? It's an IG account that has been sharing Zillow listings that are wacky, weird, or super unique. It's got a big following, and this year HGTV also debuted a show with the same name.


And now, it's at the center of a copyright infringement lawsuit.


A real estate photographer has filed a lawsuit against the popular IG account, claiming that it used two of her photos without permission.

Our friend David Newhoff, copyright activist and co-founder of RightsClick, alerted me to the lawsuit.


He then joined me for an impromptu IG Live to break it all down for us.


The main point that is of interest is the idea of "fair use" - something I was totally unaware of in the world of copyright!
