Subject: It's a big day!

Today is the day!

I'm thrilled to let you know that registration is officially OPEN for

the Grove Studio Retreat 2022!

I mentioned the venue to you last week, and if you're on the interest list then you also got a sneak peek at the experts we have lined up so far. Now, you can get all the juicy info on the location, experts, what's included, what the fee is, and answers to your most asked questions.

Full access to all amenities on property, including outdoor decks, property trails, yoga studio, hot tub, and all grounds sitting ar

Before I go, I want to thank everyone who sent lovely messages via FB, IG, and email for me to get better soon. After a nasty episode of vertigo, I'm feeling nearly 100% back to health and am back to all my daily activities!

Until next week, stay safe and be kind,

xo

Pro Tip:

Licensing has been a HOT topic in the FB group lately!

So tell me, do you have a part of your workflow that specifically covers licensing and usage with your client?

You'll want to make sure that you have several ways to touch on the topic. Here's what I do:

- When first chatting with a new client, I use the topic of cost-sharing to lead into licensing. This helps make sure they know what licensing is and why cost-sharing is necessary when other parties are involved.

- I have a section in my agreements that spells out usage, with the important/key part in bold.

- When booking for a new shoot, I always ask "Will anyone else need to use these photos and cost-sharing with you?"

- I stay open to conversations about licensing and usage with my clients or third parties. Remember that often, people don't realize they're infringing - it usually boils down to a lack of education.

So I'll ask again - do you have a part of your workflow that specifically covers licensing and usage with your client?
