Subject: Got legal questions? Got copyright questions? Time for answers.

Join us with David Deal in 2 weeks!

Uh oh... someone stole your photos

These days, it's hard to avoid infringement.

At some point, your photos will be used without your permission.

What do you do?

Take-down notice? Send an invoice? Email them kindly to request some form of payment? Talk to a lawyer?

Usually, the answer depends on many factors like the type of use, by whom, and for how long.

Thankfully, David Deal is brilliant at giving guidance on any situation that involves copyright infringement! With his long career as a photographer, now followed by a thriving legal practice that does ONLY copyright infringement cases on behalf of photographers... yep, he's the man to talk to!

Bring your notebook and all legal questions to our next webinar as we sit down with David for a casual and open Q&A chat about all things copyright.

This is your chance to ask legal questions or learn about this complex topic so that you can create and uphold clear policies for your clients!

Tuesday, February 13th at 10am Pacific

Can't join us live? No problem!

All our webinars are recorded + added to our Expert Chat Library,

accessible to Premium Members.

Meet Heather!

Say hello to Heather, based in Charlotte!

Heather dipped her toes into the world of interior photography in 2020, and fell in love with this niche. (We totally get it, Heather!) Since then she's been working with designers to show off their projects, creating stunning images along the way.

Tap the image or the button below to see Heather's beautiful work, drop a supportive comment, and give her a follow on IG ❤️

Want to be featured or know a female photographer that should be?

We want to hear from you!

Or email us to let us know who you want to nominate.

It's that simple!

Do you send out a newsletter?

If you send a newsletter to a list of clients, potential clients, or customers, then be sure that your email service is prepared for upcoming changes to the bulk email requirements!

Major email providers Google and Yahoo are implementing strict requirements for email delivery starting February 1st (that's in 2 days!).

If you send emails out from a Gmail or Yahoo address, you'll need to use a custom domain email instead.

All bulk emails must have an easy 1-click unsubscribe option.

Domains used for emailing must be verified.

There are other details that are beyond my understanding on this, but if you use a service like Mailchimp then it should walk you through what to do.

Here are a couple of resources so you can learn more and get yourself set up properly:

Upcoming Events:

February 13 - Webinar: Copyright Q&A w/David Deal

February 29 - Monthly Virtual Happy Hour

Until next time, be safe, be kind.
