We continue to have women flooding into our new membership platform (yay!), so let me take a few minutes to answer some common questions.
Is the membership for women only?
The short answer is yes.
The membership is for female-identifying professional photographers.
Why?
Because it's crucial that this community remain a safe space to speak openly - to be candid, transparent, and supportive to all.
Also, the safe space is created not just by looking at gender, but also profession! We want to make sure that it's professional photographers only. Because if we have our clients in the room (or agents, or retouchers, or marketers...) then the conversations and level of comfort change.
What about the Facebook group?
Our beloved FB group will get archived on Dec. 31st. Until FB changes things up, this means that anyone who is currently in the group will continue to have access, but no new posts can be created.
We link to our FB group in the new community platform for those who want to revisit it and search for past conversations.
Is there an app?
Yes! We're on a platform called Circle, so you can easily download the free Circle app. This allows you to have direct access to our community on your phone - post, reply, use our resources, and get notifications!
