Let's Talk Copyright

If you've been in the Facebook group recently, you probably noticed that copyright, licensing, and copyright infringement are all big topics in our field. It's not a fun topic to deal with, but one that comes up ALL THE TIME!

One of the big tools out there to help us patrol the use of our images is Pixsy, where you can upload photos that Pixsy will then notify you of any use online that it finds for that photo.

Pixsy has generously offered to talk with our community about copyright. This is a great chance to learn the ins and outs of what copyright is and how you can/should protect it.
