Or if you ever learned after the shoot that a client sold copies of the photos to their contractor (yep, this one actually happened to me! Unbelievable!!)

Then you want to have a policy in place for cost-sharing.

Cost-sharing is simply a rate structure that lets you bring in more than one party (client) to share the cost of a photoshoot.

It's not as easy as just splitting your day rate by 2 or 3...
