Back-to-school time for moms usually means that your days are opened up a bit more and you can shift your focus back to your business.

It also marks the beginning of the end of the year.

In the spirit of getting our $h*! together to wrap up the year on a high note, here are some resources that can help:

Considering raising your rates with the new year? Here are ways to know that it's time to raise rates, and a few ways to do it.

Still doing different types of photography and dream of doing interiors only? There are some simple, but powerful, things you can do immediately to make that happen.

Licensing can be a tough topic with clients. Interior photographer Sarah Linden gives priceless advice on how to educate clients about licensing and copyright.

These days, it's a good idea to diversify your offerings a bit. If that includes doing portraits of your clients or incorporating models into interiors, then check out these expert tips from UK-based photographer Sue Vaughton on how to pose people in interiors.

Get found by your dream clients next year! Set up your website for success with LA-based photographer/videographer Lauren Engel's expert SEO tips and resources.

Considering finding an agent to rep you? Commercial photographer Bethany Nauert shares her experiences with agencies to help you know when and how to find the perfect agent for you.

What is copyright and how is that different from licensing?

If someone uses your photos on Instagram without your permission, can you charge them for that?

What if your client gave them the photo???

And do you need to register photos to be able to charge any infringers for unapproved usage?

It's time to get you answers on all your copyright legal questions.

Let's meet up for a virtual chat with David Newhoff and Steven Tepp. Their expertise combined will be able to address any question you have!

David has a background in film production and 10+ years in copyright advocacy, having written over 900 articles endorsing strong copyright rights and questioning the tech industry’s assault on those rights. In 2020, he published the book Who Invented Oscar Wilde? The Photograph at the Center of Modern American Copyright.

Steven has over 25 years in the space of IP Law and copyright advocacy and protection, including having held positions with the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, the U.S. Copyright Office, and the Global Intellectual Property Center of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Join me, David, and Steven on Thursday, Sept. 12th for an open Q&A session to answer all your questions on copyright and usage!
