Well... it's true, esoterically there are specific tests and challenges for the Soul in Scorpio (
watch the video to see why) but then, there are also specific challenges for EVERY Soul Sign (watch the
OTHER videos to see why)!
It's important to realize that we are always EXACTLY where we need to be in any moment. No stage of our Soul's journey is better, or worse, than any other - it's simply where we're at.
It might seem logical that the 8th sign - Scorpio- is farther along the path than say the 2nd sign Taurus for example, but Life and our Soul's journey isn't as linear as that.
We have ALL been everything. In the
hundreds of thousands of incarnations we have each had, we've all been around the cycle many, many times.
If you look at a 10-12 month old baby - the biggest challenge he's ever had in his whole life, is learning to stand. Learning to chew his food was hard enough and just as he's mastered that art (let alone getting the spoon to his mouth) now something else comes along! But he'll just take it in his stride and next thing you know he'll be running about the place and his (or her) next biggest challenge will be stringing a coherent sentence together so that those around him can understand his needs. Remember - you WERE that baby! You are no newbie when it comes to meeting mammoth challenges.
The purpose is not to focus on how difficult the challenge may be, but what the challenge is trying to lead you to. In addition to the challenges that each Soul Sign presents for your personality - there is a higher essence trying to come through:
your biggest challenge is
to embody your highest self.

Imagine if the baby had a defeatist attitude and sat on the floor thinking "It's too difficult - I can't go on!" Fortunately we don't think like that as children, but as adults this type of thinking creeps in and can become an obstacle on our path.
The reason our baby doesn't get defeated is because he stays focused on his goal (standing), keeps trying, and (fortunately for him) the thought can't enter his head that perhaps he won't make it. He knows he will. Likewise with our Soul's journey - the light of our Soul really is who we are.
That is who we are growing into and failure isn't possible - no matter how many times around the cycle we go we WILL make it! Once we realize that, we can release all the false ideas about who we are not, and focus on embodying the highest and best of who we are.
