| Life's Greatest Adventure!

Last weekend there was quite a buzz on my Facebook page. You might ask what had caused such a stir... maybe a meteorite landed and tiny space aliens hatched out and were running amok in New York's Central Park? No. A new planet had been discovered? No. A new rainbow-colored comet was visible? No. An eclipse of the Sun? Actually there was an eclipse of the Sun, visible only from Australia and the South Pacific but that wasn't it. No, the big event that had created so much interest was... making myself a second cup of tea.
Yes, it's true. On Saturday morning I had a second cup of tea. I haven't had so much activity on my Facebook page since I bought a packet of crisps in a London pub (and commented on the price). Joking aside, this says something about us, as people, and what we are really interested in. The difference between the 'tea' post, and all the profound astrology quotes that I love to share (but which get relatively few comments), was that I was actually involved. People felt a sense of connectedness, because they were probably sitting down with their morning tea too.
One thing led to another and now, as a response to a request on Facebook, I have just written an article on the Soul Purpose of all 12 Zodiac signs. Even though this year I'm writing a series for Life Coaching Magazine, covering the soul purpose of each Zodiac sign in depth (you can read Aries and Taurus now), this doesn't feel relevant to us until our own Rising sign is under the spotlight.
I realize that if your Rising sign is not Aries, Taurus or Gemini (coming next month) you might have had a long wait to hear about your own sign, and it is clear that some people (maybe with Aquarius or Pisces rising) don't want to wait that long! Speaking of the eclipse, Solar eclipses can feel like a drain on our vitality - so if you have been feeling less 'vital' than usual over the past few days, you could also be feeling the after-effects of the eclipse. Take it easy, lie low,
nourish yourself with rest, sleep well, eat well, spend some time alone and take gentle walks in nature to allow yourself
to be nurtured and replenished by Mother Nature herself, and your energy will soon return.
It just goes to show that when you ask a question on my Facebook page, you never know where it will lead! Who'd have thought this much would come from a cup of tea? ...better put the kettle on again!
