This week we have the Full Moon in Virgo (Thurs. Mar. 5th 6:05pm GMT/ 1:05pm ET / Fri. Mar. 6th 5:05am AEDT).
We experience a Full Moon when the Sun and Moon are exactly 180º opposite each other and the Moon's surface is illuminated by the light of the Sun.
The Full Moon in Virgo is the balance-point of Pisces Season: Sun in Pisces, Moon directly opposite in Virgo. So this is an important time for balancing and healing this important polarity.
The Moon at this time is also making a harmonious aspect (trine) to Pluto which happens to be the Soul Ruler of Pisces, so this tells us that something deeply significant is happening for our collective spiritual awakening.

| We are living through interesting times indeed. There is still much chaos, confusion and suffering in the world: all associated with the lower fear-based expression of Pisces, and yet it is equally true that never before have we experienced spiritual awakening on a global scale as we are right now.
An increasing number of people have a deep spiritual connection based on their own experience, and are willing to connect with others through the internet and social media, to openly share their experiences with others.
Esoterically the Soul begins it's journey as a 'point of light in the mind of God' in Aries and journeys through each of the 12 signs before finally arriving 'home' in Pisces. In this sense the Zodiac tells the story of our Soul's development.
Esoterically Virgo is the sign of the "Mother and Child", the Virgin and the Christ child. This is symbolic of the birth of Christ Consciousness and it is in Virgo that the individuated Soul first experiences the stirrings of spiritual awakening.
It is said that esoterically we experience the 'final death' in Pisces. This means that under the Soul rulership of Pluto we experience the ultimate spiritual realization: the truth of 'oneness', Unity Consciousness or 'emptiness'. The 'Christ child' and the Mother resolve into one, where the ultimate experience is one of eternal peace, bliss, universal love and joy. This highest octave of Pisces is the 'Divine Rapture' that is spoken of by Christian Saints and mystics.
So we can see how healing happens in the Virgo-Pisces polarity. The lower fear-based expression of Pisces brings chaos, confusion and suffering, until we allow ourselves to awaken to the Christ consciousness within by aligning with the higher octave of Virgo.
Virgo is an earth sign and one of the experiences in Virgo as we travel our spiritual journey is that of anchoring the essence of love into our physicality. So as we become more conscious, we become more receptive to the somatic awareness (the felt-sense in our physical body) that Virgo can bring.
Once we have allowed ourselves to receive the higher blessings of Virgo (loving awareness), we are able to 'purify' our lower fear-based consciousness. The physical body relaxes and we may then continue our journey deeper into spiritual awareness until we reach the highest octave of Pisces: peace, bliss, joy and universal love.
This Full Moon is an opportunity to rise to the highest octave of Virgo and Pisces. The presence of Pluto (the great revealer) reminds us to rise to the highest octave of Pisces and bring our suffering into the light of awareness and compassion for healing.
It is an important time to meditate on your own awareness: to be aware that you ARE aware, and that loving awareness IS your true spiritual nature.
