TELEPATHY PLAYGROUND - INVITATION

Hi Friend

After I sent my last email about the Telepathy Playground, I've been having some afterthoughts, about the connection between Esoteric Astrology and Telepathy.

Esoteric Astrology is itself a work of telepathic communication transmitted by the Tibetan to Alice Bailey. It's not a channeled work as such, because the Tibetan Master was living at the time, as a Lama in a Buddhist monastery in Tibet.

In the Tibetan tradition, telepathy is accepted as a natural, albeit advanced, human capacity, that we are all capable of, when our mind has reached sufficient clarity.

In Tibetan Buddhism this faculty isn't called 'telepathy' but is referred to as "knowing the minds of others", and is closely linked to the awakened heart and our capacity for compassion: understanding the feelings and suffering of others. (Buddhist Master Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche speaks more about this and other capacities of higher mind in his book "The Crystal and The Way of Light")

It is interesting to look at Alice Bailey's horoscope and see where we might see evidence of her capacity for telepathy. Remember, our horoscope is a snapshot of our personal energy mandala, in other words our mindstream and the energy we are carrying, at the time of our birth.

So any past life talents and capacities should be evident in our chart if we know where to look. The first thing we notice is that her Rising Sign is Leo - so she was a Leo Soul - on the path of Self-realization through heart-centered leadership - in other words the path of the awakening heart. She was a Leo Soul with a Gemini / Libra personality (Gemini Sun / Libra Moon).

If we look at how her Soul energy was flowing by tracking her chart ruler - we see that the ruler of Leo is the Sun - which in Alice Bailey's case is conjoined Venus in Gemini in the 11th house. Even at 8º this is still a significant and powerful conjunction because we have the chart ruler - The Sun in Gemini - conjoined the esoteric ruler of the sign (Venus is the esoteric - or Soul centered - ruler of Gemini).

Gemini is about all levels of communication and communion, while the connection to Venus elevates the energy to it's Soul-centered expression. And all of this in the 11th house of friendships and social connections for humanitarian purposes. The personality ruler of Gemini, Mercury, is in her 12th house of secrets and hidden talents.

We have some very interesting avenues of exploration in Alice Bailey's chart that we don't have the space to get into here but do indicate she could have been born into this lifetime with a highly developed capacity for telepathy that she acquired in previous lifetimes.

It seems that Alice Bailey had a pre-existing Soul connection (the 12th house is also about past lives) with the Tibetan, that they would use her awakening heart (Leo Soul), their friendship (11th house) and her hidden ability (12th house) for telepathic communication (chart ruler in Gemini disposited by Mercury in 12th house) to deliver a message (Gemini) that would elevate human consciousness for the benefit of humanity (11th house).

In eastern traditions there is no separation between heart and mind as we think in the West. When Tibetans speak of mind, they mean the heart (we might think of it as heart-mind).

In conclusion, telepathic communication is inexctricably linked to the study of Esoteric and Soul Astrology. Fine-tuning your own telepathic ability will prove highly beneficial in advancing your own understanding and experience of Soul Astrology.
