The issue is, and it's one, the way that we define bravery. You may be afraid. The definition of bravery is not that you're not afraid; it's being afraid and doing it anyway. I think that we just have to charge forward and block out the noise. I just block out the noise. (53:55)

She is a powerful women entrepreneur that has been a mentor and shining example to many, myself included. I remember first meeting her at a government event booth in Washington DC in 2009. Just like I tell you, she told me to "bite the bullet", because at that time I was just like you, new to all this and learning from others.
Beverly Kuykendall, President of Government Business, leads AMD’s expansion into key areas aligned with the firm’s long-term strategic goals. She has a background in relationship development and government contracting and brings a facilitative approach to understanding and proposing solutions to difficult economic issues.
At AMD, Beverly Kuykendall has P&L Responsibility for the Government Unit and in September 2015, AMD was awarded a government contract to work with USAID and the DLA to provide more than 1 Million Adult Hygiene Kits and Regular Hygiene Kits in response to the Syrian Refugee Effort.
In March 2016, AMD was awarded a $1.2 billion government contract for the provision of medical supplies to more than 60 VA Medical Centers from Florida to Maine.
