Duplex Construction
Today I want to take you onsite where I am constructing my very own Duplex here in Miami. Once complete I will sell each unit separately as a twin home. 

This experience has been tremendous in my growth as I have never built a residential building from the ground up. So much like yourself I am learning new skills. 
Residential Real Estate Investment
As you know, I not only work in construction but I have slowly started investing my money into buy and hold residential rental properties. 

My long term goals is to own 480 units. I believe that real estate is the only secure investment devised for regular people that is simple to explain and understand. 

Not everyone can invest in stocks, commodities, own a business, or manage people. But we can all buy and own a piece of residential real estate that produces income. 

I know many people with little education ensuring their future with income and market gains from real estate. Most opportunities are knocking at your door, but we fail to act because of FEAR. 

I do know people who lost money when the market crashed. But if you stuck with it and continued your gains would have far outweighed your losses. 

When I was getting started in my real estate journey I followed Bigger Pockets Real Estate podcast.

Consulting Clients
Lately, I had a few large corporations inquiring about Mentor Protege relationships with small firms. They were seeking my advice on how to select an appropriate small firm to work with. 
Furthermore, they were inquiring if I knew of any firms that may be a good fit. 

Opportunity #1
One company, a construction company based in the New England area is looking at VOSB opportunities at the VA hospital between $3M - $6M. 

The company does not hold SDVOSB or VOSB certificate and would have to work with a certified firm in order to access these contracts. Unfortunately I don't have any firms in my organization that is SDVOSB to recommend. 
Opportunity #2
I have another company, that teaches computer based training skills to government employees. Programs like MS Access, Microsoft Excel, Word, etc. The company is operating at $25M in annual revenues headed to $30M in 2018.  

Again, they are looking for potential small business proteges that they can work with and purse small business opportunities as they are no longer considered by SBA Small Business Standards. 

As the GovCon Giants group continues to grow and thrive I suspect we will doing much more matchmaking and teaming opportunities for select students who demonstrate the ability, responsibility and courage to handle partnerships. 

But for now I just wanted to share some updates.
