| The entrepreneur’s path to the top is littered with corpses of folks who simply ran out of energy.
They had a brilliant idea, possessed the chops, started off like gangbusters, then POOF . . . they burned out.
And it’s not surprising when you’re doing “marketing of one.” It’s one person, one idea, and a million things to do to get and retain customers.
The most common culprit: It’s the time-sucking, energy-draining, pains in the ol’ keister that will DRAG . . . YOU . . . DOWN.
Today’s two words to solve this conundrum are systems and processes.
It doesn’t matter if you’re selling a course or peddling dog treats. There have to be built-in systems and processes that run on autopilot behind the scenes.
I know what you’re thinking . . . this isn’t exactly a major revelation. Everyone knows they need good systems and processes to create a business legacy that lasts . . .
So let’s get down to brass tacks.
Here’s a super-short list of a few things that should absolutely be automated and systematized in your business to get you headed in the right direction:
Automated, pre-written emails responders to prospects and customers. A simple Google search will produce a variety of plug-and-play options. Do it once and it’s done. It’s literally a no-brainer. Need help - you can find solutions on my website - just click on the banner above to go there.
Systematic marketing outreach strategies. For example, leveraging LinkedIn connections in a methodical way—and tracking the interactions. There are mountains of free platforms for tracking leads and following up with them! Don’t have time? Hire a VA.
Managing accounts receivable and compiling records for tax time. There are more financial software packages out there than you can shake a stick at. Do what you do best and forget the rest. So if you’re not an accountant, it’s time to hire one. Your bank account will thank you in the long run.
We could probably go all day adding things to the list. So why not?
Tell me what’s killing your time and sapping your energy. I’ll bet I’ve got a solution, but if I don’t, I’ll find one.
In the end, I’ll compile a massive resource for everyone to use. In fact, you can see many resources for your business on my website at https://goofproofplan.com/resources. Check it out.
Go!
To your success,
