Subject: Can you afford not to act?

This is not going to be one of those personal development rah-rah pieces that litter the internet.

Sure, it will start with an uplifting quote, like most of them. But then, it is going to get dark. And at the end, I’m going to show you that there’s something you must do today to become truly successful.

Are you ready?

"We don't make mistakes…just happy little accidents.” - Bob Ross

If you apply this idea to building wealth online, you’ll see that there are no mistakes, either. Just happy little accidents.

Picked the wrong product to promote or put hours, days, or even weeks building presence in the wrong niche?

Who cares, you learned something new and the next choice you make is going to be a better one — because now you’re more experienced.

Even more importantly, perhaps you’ll stumble upon something unexpected that’s going to help you create an unbeatable edge in the marketplace.

"I had failed on an epic scale. An exceptionally short-lived marriage had imploded, and I was jobless, a lone parent, and as poor as it is possible to be in modern Britain, without being homeless. The fears that my parents had had for me, and that I had had for myself, had both come to pass, and by every usual standard, I was the biggest failure I knew.” - J.K. Rowling

A few years later, she lost her billionaire status because she donated a lot to charity. Now it is estimated she’s worth around $700 million.

She came up with the idea for the Harry Potter books on a delayed train from Manchester to London’s King’s Cross station.

The train being late, thus, was a happy little accident. At least, for her.

Now, this is not your usual motivational or personal development piece of content.

If it was, we could end it here with generic advice on how you must continue to fail your way to success, that you must never stop learning, never stop taking action, keep an open mind, and you’d ultimately succeed.

Ugh. Life — and success — is more complicated than that.

At some point in your life, you must go from deliberating and consuming motivational content… to building your legacy.

Now...

I consider it my core mission to help you succeed. It’s my hill I’m prepared to die on. My true North.

Which is why I want to share this insight.

And… let’s not make this darker than it has to be. But life is full of surprises. Some are good, and some are bad. Some are downright terrible.

If you’re not ready for them, you’re screwed.

Money doesn’t solve all problems, but it makes 99% of the problems easier to handle.

Good health doesn’t solve all problems either, but it makes most problems way easier to handle.

The current crisis is just another example of how the unexpected can and will happen out of the blue.

If you’re not prepared — financially stable and healthy — you and people close to you might suffer.

Just because you put off taking action today… because you feared making a mistake.

Can you really afford to take that risk?

Now, there’s no link for you to click. This is not what this email is about. It’s about making you think. I’ll send you something shortly that you will love… but not today. Today is for reflection.

To Your Success,
Paul Hanson
