| Friends, we are living in an unprecedented time. The world is changing and many are forced to adapt to a whole new way of living.
Some will say that we are living in a crisis and in some regions and cities, that is more true than ever. Many have lost jobs, been displaced, or even worse - have lost to the ravages of disease. In these times, it is easy to adopt a victim mentality but that is the posture of a loser in my book.
Hey, you can disagree with me and that's fine, but I see the current affairs as also an opportunity. One definition I've heard for crisis is "dangerous opportunity". Whenever there are significant changes in a culture, there are definite opportunities that do present themselves.
Since many of us have been confined to our homes over the past several months, we've seen a rise in online marketing and home-based businesses. With that comes a lot of promotion and hype for all kinds of products and services - as if we didn't have enough of that to begin with.
Having had my share of disappointments over the years, I've become very adept at seeking out good counsel on who brings a truthful message with integrity and willing to work for the good of the individual and not just to sell a product or service and then forget about you.
Don't get me wrong - this took some doing and a great deal of time but when you finally connect with the right people and see results, that's when you want to celebrate and pass on the good news.
