Subject: Upcoming events with GIS ✏️

Hello Friend,

GIS has a couple of events coming up this week and next week that you won't want to miss!

This week on Thursday, April 13, we will be continuing our learning series applying the GIS-developed Competencies for Implementation Facilitators to work in the Criminal Justice sector. Our meeting on April 13 will be digging into Domain 3 of the competencies – Forming an Implementation Team.

Then next Monday, April 17 we will host our third collaborative event with the Western Implementation Society for Practice & Research (WISPR). The focus of our time together on April 17 will be Exploring Data in Implementation - FIDELITY.

The workshop on 17 April 2023 will focus on the use and application of data in understanding and recognizing fidelity.  Attendees will have an opportunity to explore their own data collection efforts and collaborate on how best to support and expand capacity and improve the result from implementation efforts with a better understanding of the ways data can be seen and applied.

And on Thursday, April 13 GIS invites you to explore Domain 3 of the Competencies for Implementation Facilitators – Forming an Implementation Team!

While our expert speakers will be sharing how these competencies are applied in their

work in the criminal justice sector, work in

this sector is not a prerequisite for participating. The learning and application surrounding the competencies is intended to be interdisciplinary and relevant across professional sectors.

We hope you will consider joining us for this collaborative event on Monday, April 17!

Digging deep into Exploring Data and Fidelity in implementation, our expert volunteers will share tools, perspectives, and personal/professional experiences with attendees, which contextualize how training impacts implementation.

Prior experience with training, data, and/or implementation is not a prerequisite for participating! So, please consider joining us to share your perspective on this complex, critical implementation topic.

Thank you, Friend, for your time and attention.

If you have any questions, suggestions, or just want to learn more about these or other events, please feel free to reach out!

Your involvement with, and support of GIS is the core of our value as a global organization. The more connections, conversations, questions, and solutions we explore together, the more effective our implementation practice will ultimately be.

Best for a fantastic next few weeks as we begin the second quarter of 2023!
