Subject: Share your accomplishments: Accolades & Accomplishments Forum

New Accolades & Accomplishments Forum

Hello!

GIS is consistently impressed and humbled by the incredible depth and breadth of expertise represented by the membership. Your continued support of, and participation in GIS encapsulates the true value of the society as a forum for collaboration, research, and learning.

When a significant accomplishment is completed, we have been conditioned to immediately move onto the next goal rather than share and celebrate our achievements. Sharing an achieved goal is not only a great feeling, but everyone deserves to be acknowledged for their hard work and dedication to their efforts.

GIS is interested in knowing more about our members' accomplishments and projects they participate in both professionally as well as voluntarily.  We love to see members teaching and participating in implementation science both inside and outside of the Society. It demonstrates dedication to the field and allows for communication and interaction with others sharing your passions.

Visit and post in our Accolades & Accomplishments Forum and let us know about your most recent publication or project. Tell us how you were publicly recognized; or maybe your new title at your job; etc. Hearing about your successes and accomplishments not only inspires us, but it helps us identify more concretely the wealth of strengths throughout GIS’ membership!

Our forum will also connect you with potential colleagues and partners that may be interested in your project, or have some insight for your project. Increasing communication will lead to more collaborations and innovations. Sharing your progress with others often results in positive reinforcement from your social network that can motivate you forward to excel.

GIS invites and encourages you to participate in our Accolades and Accomplishments Forum. Your own celebration is contagious and those around you want to share in your success. As accomplishments are properly recounted, new ideas and opportunities are formed and shared.

Best Regards,
