If you or someone you know is passionate about shaping the future of GIS or would be a perfect fit for a board position, now is the time to act! Nominations are being accepted until April 5th.

Board leadership positions offer a unique opportunity for distinct chance for both personal and professional advancement and/or growth. Serving in board leadership exposes you to a wide range of situations and challenges. This diversity of experiences not only improves your problem-solving capabilities but also refines and sharpens your strategic thinking and decision-making skills. Additionally, such roles facilitate the establishment of valuable relationships, which may pave the way for future opportunities and collaborations. Moreover, occupying a board leadership position often enables you to steer conversations and contribute expertise, thereby influencing the direction and outcomes of crucial discussions that have a significant impact on the organization’s future.
