Subject: GIS LATAM: Special GIRA Issue - Call for Abstracts

The Red Latino Americana de Implementación GIS-LATAM (Global Implementation Society - Latin America) is a collaborative network between Latin American researchers that, through the exchange of experiences and partnerships, aims to contribute to the development of Implementation Science in Latin America.

Started in June 2020, the network is made up of researchers from Brazil, Colombia and Chile linked to government agencies and teaching and research institutions. In order to bring together the work of researchers who have been dedicated to studying the implementation of health practices, interventions, and policies in Latin America, the Red Latino Americana de Implementación GIS-LATAM invites submission of abstracts for a special issue of Global Implementation Research and Applications (GIRA), the journal of the Global Implementation Society.

This special issue will address the following question:

How can implementation science contribute to the provision of better health care in Latin American countries?
