Introducing... the Quick Consultation Council!

Hello Friend!

The GIS Membership Committee is proud to announce our new Quick Consultation Council!

The Global Implementation Society is a safe space for people who work in implementation - at any point, be it policy, practice, or research - to share both successes and challenges. In the pursuit of our mission to “Increase awareness of implementation success stories, impact, and lessons learned to generate inclusive practice-based evidence”, the GIS membership committee is instituting a new program - a monthly Quick Consultation Council.

We would love to hear what programs you are supporting – what work you are doing. We want to hear both your achievements and insights, as well as understand challenges. In fact, this Quick Consultation Council is a great opportunity for you to share an obstacle and receive support and guidance from your peers!

Are you currently facing a challenge and you could use the guidance of a peer/colleague to navigate it? The Quick Consultation Council is for you.

This is an opportunity to learn about other implementation programs around the world, meet your fellow members and build a community of practice, share your success stories, and share any challenges you are facing with real-life practical suggestions and guidance from your peers. This is a chance for brand-new perspectives, as well as a chance for GIS to highlight you for your hard work.

GIS is looking to provide you with added membership benefits with the institution of this program. Additionally, this is a chance to build the membership committee’s engagement levels to ensure that you get everything you need from your membership with GIS while we continuously offer solutions to further the success of your work in implementation.

If you are interested in sharing your obstacles, please fill out the brief questionnaire linked to this email - it should take less than 5 minutes of your time. The first Quick Consultation Council will be held on December 4, 2024 at 8:00 am EST. Please inform us of your interest in attending by November 30. You can let us know either by submitting the linked form or simply reply to this email!
