Subject: Don't miss these upcoming GIS events!

Hello Friend,

On Thursday, Feb. 16, 12:00 pm EST/UTC-5, GIS will be continuing our volunteer-led exploration of the Competencies for Implementation Facilitators.

We would love for you to join us as we dig in to how Domain 1 of the competencies - Knowledge about the Evidence-Based Intervention and Implementation Methods - maps on to work in the Criminal Justice sector.

Experience working in the criminal justice sector is NOT a requirement for participation in this session. In fact, if you do not work in criminal justice, you are specifically encouraged to attend in order to expand the scope and breadth of professional environments represented by attendees.

Also, if you are unable to attend on Thursday, asynchronous participation will be made possible after the event on GIS's forum, however, this will be limited to GIS members only, so if you're not a GIS member now is a great time to join!

Thank you, Friend, for your time, energy, and attention. If you have any questions about this learning series or any other GIS event on the horizon, please don't hesitate to reach out directly!

And on a related note, if you are looking for other ways to participate and volunteer with GIS, you are encouraged to consider submitting your writing to GIRA, GIS's flagship publication, OR, volunteer to be a manuscript reviewer.
