Past GOT traveller Libby has travelled on Polar Pioneer and has this to say
“ I sailed on the Polar Pioneer in January 2009 to Antarctica. This wonderful ship was a pleasure to be on in many ways - I loved the fact that there was only 45 passengers on board as it made it a friendly tour. The Captain had an “open bridge” policy which meant that if you were awake at 2am you could wander up there with your cup of tea and see what was happening. This vessel was a great ice breaker and you could hear the ice growling as we went through it.
