It has been a very difficult restoration.
Patrick had ground down teeth, due to many years of bruxism.
He has been wearing partial dentures for more than 30 years, which he has by now happily buried in the sea of Hersonissos
Because he didn’t have teeth for so many years, his jaw bone had become very thin. Dr Kostakis - the maxillofacial surgeon - performed a very delicate operation which includes sinus-lift, bone augmentation and implant placement, all in one hour!

His lower teeth were crowded, crooked and misaligned. Finding enough space for all the new crowns and creating a well aligned smile was a challenge.

The end result is very natural. There is a certain playfulness on the way the new teeth are aligned on the jawbone and we even made-up the new crowns to look like natural teeth.
