GEA’s Popular Leadership Training Series begins February 7
GEA is pleased to announce the Leadership Training for Supervisors and Team Leads workshop series will be offered once again for 2018. This popular five day, multi-module program focuses on practical skills and tools that team leaders and lead people need to succeed in today’s business environment. Full day workshop sessions are scheduled once a month through June. |

The Leadership Training series is one of GEA’s most popular offerings. It’s a comprehensive program that helps new managers transition into a leadership role. Experienced managers and supervisors also attend to improve specific skills.
The course keys in on concepts that are valuable to team leaders:

- Coaching
- Employee Development
- Recruiting and Interviewing techniques
- Communications and Organizational Skills

The series is co-sponsored by Humphries Consulting, Inc. and Keiko Humphries will be the instructor for the course. Ms Humphries has over 20 years experience in private industry and consulting environments. She is a versatile and effective trainer, with experience across a variety of industries including government, manufacturing, financial institutions and healthcare. Ms. Humphries works frequently for GEA and our member companies, providing Leadership Training, PHR/SPHR Certification Preparation Classes, and Organizational Coaching and Consultation.

The Leadership series is an excellent development opportunity for both new and seasoned managers in your organization. New team leads and supervisors are encouraged to attend all of the workshops in the series. Experienced supervisors can choose among the workshops to develop or improve their management skills.
