Garden Greetings!
After record-breaking early warm spring in NC, we're back to cooler weather this week. Thanks to frost covers, the salad greens survived 26°F nights, and all the other budding plants and trees seem to have made it through as well.
This is the time of year we enjoy the natural wild plant resources all around us. So far, it's plantain and wild violets.
Some curse it and others bless it. Which is it for you? Do you enjoy wild violets or do they mess up your yard and garden landscape?
If you're not already familiar with some of the many benefits of wild violets, you're in for a treat! We enjoy it fresh in salads and dried for wild violet tea blends. |
