Dear Fellow Gardener,
For today, here's our current most popular article: Guide to pruning hydrangeas, and here's one of the things we've been doing this weekend: drying avocado leaves and fig leaves.
How about you? We'd love to hear!
As we work toward establishing a rhythm in this new normal (see personal update below if interested), we'll aspire to share just one brief update per day. Nothing fancy... just in this very simple way as above.
Meanwhile... PERSONAL UPDATE:
We've been very unable to share gardening updates lately because LeAura's 87 y/o terminally ill mother, has taken a new down-turn in capabilities and wellness.
[From LeAura, GardensAll writer & editor):
Subsequently, my brother and I are now alternating 24/7 in her care, with other family members filling in and supporting here and there.
I’m grateful that my brother's semi-retired circumstances allow him flexibility to be available. Further grateful that my mother lives next door to me, plus my work is online, so that I can do it from anywhere.
Sooo... while I haven't been able to post regular articles and updates from GardensAll, and our social communities are now somewhat neglected as well, I will post as able.
The good news is that my mother isn’t sad. She’s ready to go, and doesn’t want to stick around if she can’t be independent. So we hope for her, the best possible release from this body and journey beyond.
We hope you are well and enjoying the bounty from your garden with more growing still.
Wishing you a beautiful day!
Coleman and LeAura Alderson
