Subject: SNIPPETS: Friday Funday

Heeelllllloooo Gardener and Happy Friday!

As you may know, we’re into organic gardening and looking forward to increasing the things we can grow organically.

Devani and LeAura have a lot of food allergies and reactions to food which is another reason we’re into organic gardening, and buying the organic foods we can’t yet grow, whenever we can. We figure the extra expense up front is better than paying for medicines later, and look at it more like the cost of supplements.

So we were happy to discover a good source for organic or naturally grown wine using the lowest amounts of sulfites.

We’re not big drinkers here but the girls might enjoy a glass of wine on the weekend and the boys the occasional craft beer. Nikolai enjoys elderberry mead now and then if we can find some, and Devani’s favorite is dandelion wine. But both are surprisingly rare to find.

Someday it would be fun to try making some homemade dandelion and elderberry wines… you know… when we’re not too busy. ;-) If you have, let us know how it turned out!

Meanwhile, we found a good source for natural wines online, so sharing that in case you’re also interested in a lighter healthier wine. Whether it’s water or wine… tea or beer… here’s a toast to you, your family and your health!

Grow great gardens! :-D
