Subject: SNIPPETS: First hummingbird of spring returns

Happy Monday, Gardeners!

HUMMINGBIRDS
A few days ago we hung out the hummingbird feeders. Daily hummingbird visitations last year was one of the highlights of the garden.

Nikolai was the first to spot one at the feeder three days later! He’s great at spotting and identifying wildlife and plants in general.

You may enjoy reading this article on our hummingbirds and feeders.

THEN...
While Coleman was out of town in Atlanta, LeAura was using his office to read and record one of the audio articles Devani and I publish for our iCreateDaily website and podcast.

In the middle of recording the reading, the LOVELY female ruby-throated hummingbird dashed to the window straight in front of me… three feet away.

There we were, face-to-face as she hovered, looking in, while I stopped mid-sentence to gasp in delight at the sight of her. I then proceeded to go off script to express the experience and explain my momentary stumbling but left it in the recording.

Should you have any interest in creating, mindset and goals, perhaps you will enjoy that article as well.

That magical moment in time had all the appearance of the hummingbird peering in to see if Coleman was home. He so enjoyed daily meditations in the garden observing them last season.

He gets home close to midnight on Sunday, and you can be sure he’ll be in the garden bright and early to look for his friend.

"My heart quickens to the breath of spring as hummingbird’s beat of wing,
and flowers nectar my wintered soul."
