GROWING PURPLE TREE COLLARDS A package of Purple Tree Collard cuttings came in this week all the way from California.
Another perennial vegetable, tree collards can handle winters down to 20°F. It does get down there and below in our NC zone 7a yet, but we’re keen to get them started in our greenhouse and then set them out in containers when the weather warms.
