SPRING SUNDAY GREETINGS, GARDENER!

SPRING HAS SPRUNG (in NC 7a) AND SO HAS THE TO-DO LIST!

Spring is clearly afoot here, and with that, tons of things to do. Our weekend to-do list included pruning hydrangeas.

PRUNING HYDRANGEAS

So if you need help with pruning tips for hydrangeas (and other plants), this article and video should help.

SHADE TOLERANT HYDRANGEAS

We love hydrangeas and look forward to their magnificent blossoms each season. We’re grateful that hydrangeas grow well in our partially shaded yard and yield big beautiful blooms year after year.

AND... did you know that hydrangeas are even used medicinally?!? Nature is amazing!

NO ONE WAY

If you do things differently, please feel free to let us know your way. We’re glad to learn it and share it. While Coleman has 40+ years of experience with plants, landscaping, gardening and horticulture, we’re still learning as we grow. There’s so much to discover in the wonderful world of plants, so we’re students for life (and of life)!

Not only is there always something to learn, but as we’ve gotten older we’re ever more grateful for the handy supercomputer in our palm for a quick search of things we can’t remember! 😜(Like some of the questions LeAura asks Coleman while he's filming videos, that neither of us can remember in the moment)!

RAISED BED GARDEN IN A BARREL...?

On another note, if you’re considering raised bed gardening in 55 gallon barrels, this should help.

WHAT'S UP IN YOUR GARDEN?

Let us know how you’re doing and what’s up in your gardening plans or plantings. We’re only a reply away.

From our hearts to yours,

Coleman and LeAura Alderson
