Gratitude, Winterizing, & Flowers!

We closed down all the remaining "summer" crops today as the temperature zips down to 25 F overnight. We bade a fond farewell to the peppers, the nasturtiums, the roses, the butterfly bush, and the loofah squash.

Then, the late fall plantings of collards, kale, broccoli, and cabbage were tented with an extra layer of frost fabric. The water lines and hoses were drained and clean up performed. Winter mode has arrived!

As we close off the season, I'd like to offer readers and listeners of this newsletter my sincere thanks.

Sharing the garden adventures with you has been a real treat as we've grown and learned together.

Here are this weeks latest articles:

As always, looking forward to winter harvests and eventually, the coming spring season ...

"May your gardens flourish and your harvests be bountiful, and when you look upon your little Eden, may you see that it is good."

~Coleman Alderson, GardensAll.com

P.S., Sorry we've been MIA these last couple weeks; crazy busy but having fun! Hope you are too. :-)
