We received 5 inches of rain in the past week. Showers were so heavy they punched holes in our leafy greens. A cold front came after the rains. Temps dropped to the low 50's.
Now all is well and thriving and incredibly beautiful days… the perfect gardening weather.
THIS WEEK HARVEST
- Cucumbers (Pickling Bush)
- Beans (Purple TeePee and Romano Purpiat)
- Chard (Bright Lights and Perpetual Spinach)
- Dandelion
- Beet Greens
- Dill Weed
After the rains we got to work with a long list of things. We were going to share that as usual for our weekly news roundup, called “Garden disPATCH”.
However, it occurred to us that it may not be so useful for you to see our “checklist” of things done without more informative how-to things that you can actually use. :-D
So… toward that, we plan to break some of that info into short articles, some with videos, such as this one here on the battery powered sprayer we’re enjoying.
In this short article and video (SNIPPETS) we cover the benefits of it over the backpack sprayer system we’ve used for years.
As always, we love to hear what you’re using and what’s working (or not) for you.
Grow great gardens!
