Hey Gardener!
In a nutshell, we had a very rainy five days this week. Some of the more tender leaved plants look battered, but the upside is that we did not have to water very much and won't have to water for a few days now that things are drying out.
And you know, as I walk out and see the sunlight bathing the sparkling beauties in the garden the mightiest feeling is one of gratitude. The sun, the rain, the wind, all these elements give our garden the essentials to grow and flourish.
The job of the gardener is to make the most of these elements.
I’m coaching for another 3-day online investment seminar, so it’s an intensive weekend with not much garden time, but I sneak outside for a few at each break.

NEW ADDITIONS TO THE GARDEN:
- New variety Marvel of Venice and a very good producer from last year: Gold Marie Vining beans.
- At the beginning of the week, we planted pole beans and set up our bamboo bean pole teepees.
- And to brighten the garden with sumptuous flowers we selected a ‘Fiesta’ hibiscus as the centerpiece.
