Subject: GARDEN disPATCH: Summer Garden Wins & Favorites

Sunday Greetings, Gardener!

We’re shifting into fall gardening mode, even though it’s several weeks before the calendar makes it official in zone 7a. The garden is still abuzz with bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. The Joe Pye Weed blossoms are a powerful lure for the insects.

THIS SUMMER'S WINNERS...
As we set about growing our fall line-up, we’d like to share some of our proven winners from the summer season, here in no order of preference.
So, garden aficionados, what are your proven winners this season? Please, send
us your pics and comments showcasing your favorites. BTW, we’ve heard from gardeners across the country that this has been a big year for cucumbers. We're sipping cucumber water with frozen cucumber ice cubes while writing this.
