GREETINGS, GARDENER!
“Morning Has Broken, Like the First Morning”
How fitting does this anthem come to mind. Every new day is born like no other.
Our gardens offer not only food, but a focal point for creation. Every day is a new day in the garden, especially with the arrival of spring.
Ways to enjoy your “Little Eden”.
Seek and find beauty in the smallest of details. A tiny insect, droplets of dew on a leaf, hidden blooms, the hum of bumble bees. They are all out there, waiting to be discovered.
Turn away from whatever fresh hell the news hawkers are peddling today.
Step out into the fresh air, and look to the beauty of this season. Bring a camera. Bring a sketch pad. Share your images. This is you doing the reporting.
Many of our friends have been posting garden scenes of flowers, trees, birds, and whatever else strikes their appreciation. We, in turn, express our enjoyment and gratitude. Creativity is affirmation. Just like the first morning.
“Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden.”
