GREETINGS, GARDENER!
WHEW, it’s been a doozy of a week! Of a year, actually! And… we’ve survived it thus far, and shall still, especially if we focus on the bright side and the things we can do.
If we can’t change what is, that we don’t like, we need to devote our time to what we can do and avoid dwelling in the doldrums of that which we can’t. We can grow things, we can garden, we can plan what to plant, and we can choose what to focus on.

PLANTING GARLIC
This week we planted garlic - Moroccan Creole, and while we’re on that topic, it’s a great time to make fire cider with garlic from our previous harvest.
Immunity boosting, antibacterial and antiviral, fire cider is a potent tonic to have on hand anytime. Especially in fall and winter and these crazy Covid times. If you haven’t yet made it, there’s a simple fire cider recipe in this article.
INDOOR GARDENING
We’ve heard from a few folks that they needed to move to a location without a yard garden. But even if you’re in an apartment, you can create an indoor “garden” of plants to help keep you connected with lovely growing things. Not only do they add beauty and a connection with nature, they also help reduce stress and anxiety.
LED grow lights can be a big help if you don’t have enough natural lighting. We have several types that we’ve put to use, though now that we’ve upgraded to a little cattle panel greenhouse we don’t need as many.
And… whether you work from home or in an office, any plant lover will love this concept of a garden desk!!
