Subject: GARDEN disPATCH: Can You Freeze Cucumbers?

Sunday Greetings, Gardener!

One of the most commonly searched articles on GardensAll is “can you freeze cucumbers”.

With all the cukes coming in from the garden harvest, after making all of the pickles and fridge pickles we can use, our next most favorite way lately to enjoy them is to blend them and make them into ice cubes.

We puree cucumbers, skins and all (washed of course), and also add lemon balm, other mints and/or lemon juice and a little water. Pour into ice cube trays, then add frozen cubes to a glass of water. Yum! So refreshing!

What are your favorite ways to avoid cucumber preserve cucumbers?
