You can probably relate to that comic above... we sure can! 🤣 In fact, we set up a sauna tub in our bathroom with our tropical plants and grow lights this year! 😎🌿🛀🏽

We had our first freeing temps in the Piedmont of North Carolina on 10/28, so we've busy making space, cleaning, and bringing plants in. Also harvesting, dehydrating and processing herbs and some of the many wonderful edible and medicinal plant leaves.

One of the plants we enjoy for fall color and which is an edible and medicinal plant is the striking American Beautyberry.

This is the first year we've taken the time to dig deep into the research on this plant and put it to use beyond it's beauty in the landscape.
